Jagan Mohan Reddy begins his two-day Delhi visit today, it is likely to discuss the Polavaram project with Amit Shah

Jagan Mohan Reddy will also bring together another union minister, including the Minister of Water Resources Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The POLLAVARAM project is a multi-purpose irrigation project under the Godavari River.

The chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy, will come to Delhi on Thursday for a two-day visit. It is expected that he is with several ministers of the Union in these two days, including Amite Shah Minister and the Minister of Water Resources Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

JAGAN MOHAN REDDY will discuss the remaining issues of the State, including the release of funds for the Polavaram irrigation project, with the Ministers, the PTI news agency reported to quote a launch of the Office of the Main Minister (CMO). He will return to Amavati on Friday afternoon.

The Polavaram project is a multipurpose irrigation project under construction in the Godavari River in the Western Godavari district and the East Godavari district in the state.

Reddy had discussed the details of the project when he met Shah in the residence of him in December last year.

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday that sought the intervention to incorporate the creation of basic infrastructure in Greenfield colonies as part of the assistance given to state governments under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana ( Pmay).

Reddy, in the letter from him to PM Modi, mentioned that the Center has sanctioned more than 3 Crore to Andhra Pradesh houses in the last 7 years with the launch of the central assistance of almost ₹ 3 lakh crore.

Earlier this week, also the Prime Minister of the Decision of the Center to provide free Vaccines from Covid-19 to all citizens over 18 years of age and said vaccination is a national agenda for maximum priority.

In a Tweet, the main minister said: “Vaccination is the only weapon in this battle against Covid-19. Sincere thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji to eliminate this uncertainty and vaccinate a national agenda of its highest priority.”

In a significant decision at the beginning of today, the Prime Minister announced a centralized unit of vaccines saying that the Center will obtain 25 percent of Vaccines COVID-19 that will be held by the States. The decision will be implemented in two weeks, before June 21.
